Inside Sales Engineer

A market leader in the pump industry is looking for an Inside Sales Engineer in the Brantford, ON area.  You are directly responsible for cooperating with all other company personnel and to assist them, whenever possible, to help them to succeed, as well as to ensure the company's success and perform other duties as directed.  Responsible for planning, supporting, and coordinating company’s international sales efforts.  Plan and meet objectives regarding sales volume, market share, and profitable growth.




  • Assist customers with quotes, orders, and after-sales support (including warranty claims)
  • Responsible for the RMA process and ensuring that it is appropriately implemented and utilized in international markets
  • Responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and training services to coworkers and customers
  • Responsible for communicating the technical details, both mechanical and electrical, of the products manufactured as well as the applications in which they are used to internal and external customers
  • Responsible for handling incoming calls, emails, and other requests for support from customers, representatives, wholesalers, service centers, specifying engineers, contractors, and end users requiring support and technical assistance on products
  • Responsible for providing customer and technical support and troubleshooting services to individuals from various markets
  • Responsible for maintaining a basic understanding of international, country, local codes, and third-party marks to ensure products are compliant with local rules and regulations
  • Follow up on field input with management and be a champion for the corrective actions needed to reduce warranty expense
  • Follow up and assist in implementation of product improvements and additional product offerings
  • Participate and disposition special inspections and communicate results to interested parties, including customers
  • Contribute to the integrity of marketing materials, literature, installation instructions, quick start guides, etc. and participate in the routing and review process
  • Support customer training events by aiding in the development of demonstration units, the agenda, curriculum, and contribute as necessary to the overall success of the event
  • Support sales efforts through participation in group trainings, webinars, and other marketing and sales activities
  • Communicate with select, strategic customers to ensure their technical needs are addressed
  • Responsible for identifying problem areas impeding progress, improving divisional communication, and supporting the goals and sales objectives of each division

  • Must be a self-starter, dependable and work well under pressure
  • Experience in creating detailed technical proposals and implementation plans
  • Competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Must have a valid-driver’s license and maintain a good driving record
  • Must have a valid passport and the ability to travel to the United States
